The Monetization Manager is critical to effectively managing USDA Food for Progress commodity monetization operations. This position requires expertise in agricultural commodity sales, inventory control, food safety compliance, and bid development processes to maximize monetization efficiency while aligning with USDA standards and objectives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commodity monetization, trade, or sales management, preferably within USDA-funded programs.
• Proven track record in achieving high-cost recovery on commodity sales to maximize program sustainability and effectiveness.
• Experience developing bids, managing inventory, and executing call-forward processes.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, including USDA and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural commodity markets and distribution networks.
• Skills:
• Expertise in sales strategy development and negotiation.
• Advanced proficiency in inventory control systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is strongly preferred.
